06/12/20 - This week we have another Detroit legend, John Beltran. He delivered a diverse mix that  shows us where he has been, where he is, and where he is going. He has been a friend of Amalgama for a decade and a half, so it is long overdue that we have him as a guest, so enjoy!

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, R-04 began to study classical piano at the age of 6. When inspired by Detroit Techno music at a rave held in Japan, R-04 started to compose his own electronic music with his first synthesizer in 1999. Still enjoying jazzy piano solo pieces on the grand piano, R-04's music sometimes is something between jazz and techno. In 2009, R-04's official first singles "Gazing at the Moon" and "Chaser EP" were released. Now R-04's music is supported by various artists around the world.
