Hello Soundcloud, I am going to show you a side of me that not many have heard. I have always admired all sorts of music & been involved with just about everything. This is the first time I've had the opportunity to actually record this style of music. Some of you may have heard my old band back in 2011 live but never had the chance to get good recordings of us, maybe some day we'll get together for that. I am so happy I was able to record with Evacuate The City & be a part of this beautiful masterpiece. Some of you may not like it but for those who do, thank you for taking the time to open your ears to another side of me.  <3

I am king.  Impossible

I wrote this title down as a song idea but never thought it would be
written.  It seemed a little off putting to me.  I could see two extremes -
either I would tell you what a horrible person I am (which I have already
done) or I would make myself sound great (which is not me at all).

But one day I started playing around with the first verse and thought it
was a good balance between the extremes.  So who am I?   There is a scene
in the movie Anger Management about this question - it is hilarious so
check it out.  But for me there are only a few important things. I work
hard, love my wife, help those in need, and I am saved.  That's pretty much
the song.

A lot of people are like that.  There are only a few really important
things when you examine it.  The noise and clutter can sometimes muddy the
view.

So I hope this song clarifies your faith or encourages you to live out some
aspect of your belief.  Biggest thing, I hope God is glorified by this
music.
