Amar Sangam was born in the north-east part of the country assam, in the lap of kamrup peaks and the river brahmaputra, Amar Sangam has come across a long journey with his miracles in strings. He started learning mandolin since childhood from Guruji Shri Utpal Bora of Assam, under the western style and accompanied with legendary artists there.

He is equivalently proficient in various string instruments namely Mandolin, Acoustic guitar, Tenor Banjo, Dotara ,Rabab , Mandola etc.
