 Links below. My Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well. My original goal was visual art, and I have many works in private and public collections. But I switched by instinct to home production, which is not dissimilar to painting. There is a huge pallet of noises and sounds at my disposal. Drawing from an eclectic set of influences and experience, Chrono moves through chaotic harmonies, driving vocals, and wistful melodies to create its own world for the listener.

Dynamic, emotive, and energized, the band reflects the creative drive to experience things fully and honestly.

At the heart of the band, co-founders and long-time friends Zac Pirnat and Jeremy Lutz play guitar and drums, respectively. Highly skilled and self-taught, their musical chemistry is the life blood of Chrono. Vocalist and synth player Ashley Frary joined with keyboardist Mandi Work in April of 2012. Together they brought a softer, more whimsical sound and powerful, multi-faceted vocals. The newest member, bassist Kevin Cupka Head, joined in October of 2012 after demonstrating incredible technical proficiency and a seamless integration of commanding riffs and improvisation skills.

We have just released our 4th album "Fantasyland"!  It's the first part of a trilogy.  

 Our previous albums ‘All It Takes’ and "Mixed Emotions" are here for your ears.  'All It Takes' is a concept album based on an odd day in a mans life and the struggle to balance reflection, dreams and memories with his place in this world and the order of the universe...while attempting to happily enjoy the day simply for what it is. The Ologists call Vermont home (with residents also in CA & FL).  Our sound seems to be a blend of Rock, Psychedelic, Acoustic, Progressive, Jazz, Folk, Classical and Experimental music. 

The first Ologist project began in 1997 at an Art school in Chicago. Our first official album ‘Eyebology' was released in 2007 followed by ‘Mixed Emotions’ in 2010 and 'All It Takes' in 2012 and the new album 'Fantasyland'.

Co-formed by the guitarist of the original 70's prog-rock band Fusion Orchestra -  Colin Dawson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusion_Orchestra) and the keyboard player Ben Bell.

Davide and Marco Fratta began to cultivate the idea of a "trio" in 2004. Davide (guitar) is a versatile musician fascinated by psychedelic atmospheres. Marco (bass) loves progressive rock and the more experimental post-rock projects. In 2005, together with drummer Federico Diano, they recorded a demo produced by Sandro Gianotti (Java Studio Records). This is a real “project studio”, a delivery room key to mature as musicians, bringing to instrumental music inspired by progressive. In 2011, after various personal experiences, they founded the Amaranta Trjo. The first drummer was Carlo Imparato, later replaced by Paolo Possidente.

I'm a blues prog rock musician .I grew up listening to classic rock. Great bands like Queen, Black Sabbath, T-Rex, Deep Purple, The Who,Eric Clapton this list goes on. 

A time when music really was music, where song lyrics had meaning and there were no chavs in the world, destroying our society and polluting our airwaves with their same beat, same tune, same swearing, same style crap that they call music. I want to take this modern rubbish that's playing off the radio, and bring back proper music.

I don't believe in auto-tune or fame seeking, and I'm very aware that I'm not the best at singing, but I'm here to show what I can do musically not vocally. Id rather by myself than be the next "pop star" who only sells for shaking their arse on a video.

I believe that music goes in circles, its about time blues and rock get back into the mainstream, and i mean real rock not this modern "rock " that is NOT rock.

Back in the day you had to sell over 100 THOUSAND copies to get into the top 5, today you only need 3 thousand. It shows how badly music standards have slipped.

Music is going by the wayside, and things need to change, but I cant do it on my own. So please follow me, join me, and make proper music together.
