Shared Space

Look! See!
Can you see?
Can you see the world around me?
Since I cannot see you here.

Around me,
Surroundings have changed,
It’s only your absence I can see.

Do we somewhere still
share the same clouds? 
The same wind?
Look! Can you see?
Do we still admire the same rivers?  
The same trees?

I can’t see,
I can’t hear anymore.

But when I look beyond my fear.
There where I cannot reach with eyes or ears,
I see, I hear, our shared space,
My memory has seized you.

And I let myself float away in a river of memories.

Can you hear the wind?
