Born in the UK, James Harcourt's music has graced the DJ sets of Tale Of Us, Sasha, Adriatique, Marino Canal, John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, and more. In 2024, he has released EPs and singles with Global Underground, Siamese, and Renaissance, as well as remixes for the labels of Miss Monique, Elif, Mira, and Dave Seaman.

Drawing on influences dating back to the late 90s club hedonism of London but also from forward-thinking sound design, his unique sound is a fusion of artistic intricacy and indulgent hedonism.

A string of heavily supported releases since 2021, along with mainstage appearances at the avant-garde Hypercube project in Mexico, the UK's Noisily Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival, and club circuit appearances all over the world, have cemented his place as an in-demand artist. Here's the live recording of my set played at Utopia Festival on September 5, 2020. Yeah that's right, there was a festival in 2020, probably one of the only ones, for sure the best one! 
Set played in the middle of the night so it starts directly with a bang... hope you guys can enjoy it ... especially now that we are back in lockdown (or at least party-restricted) I hope this helps some of you to make a little boogie in your living room... Hope we can dance together again sooner than later, miss you guys and sending you much love and strength in those difficult times !! 
Stay tuned ! I have more recordings which I plan to upload while everyone is at home. 
And don't mind the few mistakes, it was a live recording, it's not flawless (there was even a certain Jerry who couldn't resist turning some knobs while I was playing), but hey, when I re-listened to it I was awed by some of the stunning tracks that I played. Maybe that's why we needed this lockdown, for all that great music that came out this summer !
