Fled from the start but then i grew
had never thought I would get to
but through years 
all my fears tend to dim

From a child, hard to size up
crushed to tears and quickly wised up 
brushed it off and kept it up 
And fought for more

As for my grief, never once i’ve 
gotten to, feel it could have 
turned to good, but from your kindness 
It surely would
