Juanderful - Tropicalismo Mundial

Juanderful is co-founder/curator of Tropicalismo events and a tropicALL sound aficionado. Growing up to the rhythms of his Colombian background has unquestionably laid down the backbone to sounds he digs. Being in Philly, with its rich DJ legacy and soulful sounds, has added another dimension to that score. Most recently, Juanderful has been pushing humidity soaked funk riddims at TROPICALISMO/EQuatorial Funk, which has seen the participation of guest DJs from around the globe. These experiences have helped to further expand his sonic range while encouraging him to dig deeper into the roots. Always pushing forward, not neatly defined, but global in mind.

29 yrs on the decks, spent most of that time Djing in Sydney Australia, I've held residencies at just about every nightclub/Bar since the early 90s ,
Goodbar ,Kinselas , Gas ,Soho bar, Q Bar ,Soul Bar, Blue Room, Beach rd hotel, Lotel, Home nightclub,  Pelicano ,
Just name a few,
I've Played at many Festivals across Australia and around the world. with a small hiatus back in NZ for 8 years in the 2000's .
I have since moved back to the "Lucky country" Australia residing on the Central coast of NSW 
 Currently Djing 4 nights a week spreading my shifts between Mumbo Jumbos ,Strawberry hIlls Hotel , Manly Greenhouse , Beach Rd Hotel , Dicks Hotel ,Hotel Ravesis.
I still love good music, 
collected 25,000 records over the years.
