I have been working, tweaking and editing this recording for a long-long time Drum and bass / breakbeat style beats with multiple layers of harmonic fingerstyle guitar. The addition of birdsong in the background (recorded at 5 a.m in the U.K during the first COVID lockdown) augments the melodic, harmonic and overflowing guitar. The birdsong fades, giving way to an increased complexity of melody and harmony. The central silence half-way through the track is when things get more intense. The intro overflowing with harmony gives way to the main chord progression. At 4mins 30seconds, it's time to break it down again. I really love getting lost and disorientated by the timing of this breakdown leading only to land firmly on a really neat 8 bars of guitar breakbeat/DrumandBass. The birdsong returns and slowly the tune breaks apart. At the very end it revisits what I considered to be the highlight of the track in a loud finale. It is totally OKAY to TURN THE VOLUME UP and FEEL this. Thanks for your time. x
