"Dystopia", a Trance track that explores the theme of dystopia and the power of the mind to overcome it. It combines high energy and uplifting melodies with thought-provoking lyrics.

The inspiration for "Dystopia" came from my own experiences of struggling with negative thoughts and emotions, and the realization that I had the power to change my own mindset and create a more positive reality. I wanted to capture this theme in a Trance track that would inspire others to do the same.

In terms of the production process, I focused on creating a driving beat and a catchy melody that would get listeners moving and feeling the energy of the track. At the same time, I paid close attention to the lyrics and the emotional message of the song, ensuring that they were conveyed in a clear and powerful way.

Lyrics: "I've always believed the ultimate dystopia is the inside of your own head. I simply turn my own mind off."

Zum Jahresabschluss präsentieren wir euch etwas ganz Besonderes: Dieses Vinylset von -Nils Mann- ist im Vergleich zu anderen Ton Terrinen ein Klartraum, eine Reise in ein musikalisches Märchen.

Nils kehrt für einen kleinen Moment seinen sonst tanzbaren Sets den Rücken und wechselt für uns in ein neues Terrain: Ambient! Aber ohne den Halt des Saarbrücker Mutterbodens zu verlieren. Ein Debüt aus der Nauwieser Szene heraus mit seiner Sehnsucht nach Entschleunigung, nach Relaxation – und das auch sehr gut einsetzbar mit einem "Knopf im Ohr".

Die Erde ist eine Scheibe und unser Traumland wird gewebt aus zwei improvisierten Bergen, die das Meer der Komposition bilden. Eine Verschmelzung von elektronischen Ambient-Texturen, Live-Instrumenten und Field-Recordings - hauchzarte Gitarrenmelodien, verträumte Synthesizer-Arpeggios und pulsierende Rhythmen, die sich in den Stranddünen seiner schwimmenden Sound Insel widerspiegeln.

Es ist wie gemacht zum Träumen, das weite Reisen Revue passieren lassen mit ausgedehntem Coachsurfen vor dem knisternden Kamin.
Alles aufgenommen in seinem Hofstudio in der Paul-Marien-Strasse (Made in Saarbrigge), griff der Freund des entschleunigten Sounds nach den
Sternschnuppen und knüpfte einen Klangkosmos daraus. DJ, Schallplattenspieler und Schallplatte vereinen sich zu einem dampfenden Sammelsurium aus Dub, Space und anderen Baumaterialien, das nur gelegentlich durch das Flattern von Fledermausflügeln oder dem Schnaufen der Dampflok von Jim Knopf unterbrochen wird. Zum fünften Mal seit 2020 ist –Nils Mann– für uns an den Decks gewesen und springt mit Anlauf in den wachswarmen Kosmos von Efficient-Space. 

Nils sitzt gerade in seiner Dampflok und umschreibt das wie immer ganz relaxed:

"Als nächstes habe ich nun einen Ambient-Mix zusammengestellt, organisch, entspannend, ohne Beat, zum Abschalten. Eins mit den Elementen, Wasser, Erde, Luft, und das wohlige Knistern des Feuers im Hintergrund. Ein Mix um den Pflanzen beim Wachsen zuzuschauen, am Tag nach der Party wieder Kraft zu tanken oder einfach nur so für Zwischendurch. (gez. Nils Mann)"
