Now that we’re past full moon, the early evening sky remains dark for longer periods as the moon rises later each night. This reveals a really nice target for binoculars called the Coma star cluster.

Throughout the ages, mankind has sought consolation and serenity in the heavens, in those lights in the night sky that are beyond our reach. The constellations inspire awe and evoke a sense of mystery that strikes at our human sense of wonder and curiosity. The stars at night are at once comforting . . .and yet at the same time . . .their mystery often invokes feelings that might be characterized as . . .eerily unsettling. This track can be used for star parties or contemplation of our majestic universe.
