Sandman has been playing Drum & Bass since 2015. Starting in Johannesburg, South Africa with his debut set at the infamous Addictshun in Braamfontein under the alias 'Nomad'. After just one year of hard work, playing in 7 different cities, he was invited to play South Africa's biggest monthly Drum & Bass event, Science Frikshun.
 
Ambition drew him overseas where he got the opportunity to play alongside Bristol based legend, DLR, in March 2015, shortly thereafter deciding on Bristol as his launch pad where he has now built a life for himself.

Sandman released a two track EP, Jack Thumb, on Lost Recordings with vocalist, DJ, radio presenter and close personal friend, AuRo Janks in January 2017 which hit 5th most popular track on the label at the time.

2018 has Sandman poised on the edge of a number of releases. Having played his first set containing 100% original tracks at the ever-growing FUCK ABOUT! night in May, Sandman is now looking to further expand his reach into the Bristol Drum and Bass community.

Waiting For Hilda To Talk: A funky, up-beat twist on the classic liquid roller. Bass licks and etherial pads are the stand-out feature of this track.
