It was such a huge honour to be asked by George from Atlantis to remix such an iconic Trance classic! 

Getting a remix opportunity like this always comes with a lot of pressure and I really wanted to stay true to the original. I decided to go with a Classic Trance style and to keep things sounding as true to that era and rich sounding as possible! 

Getting this remix opportunity wasn’t the only great news! George then told me that Activa would be signing the track to none other than Borderline as part of the 25th anniversary!

Once in a generation a track comes along that blows your mind. From a time when software wasn't anywhere near what it is today, it amazes me how something so powerful could be written. Carte Blanche is a piece of trance history, and one of the best trance records ever written. 

So, my vision was to recreate the track in a way that did it justice, but bring it bang up to date.
