"Third Eye" is an intense, 150 bpm Psytrance x Acid Techno track with prominent 303-style lines. It's aggressive and rave-driven, as well as considerably psychedelic in quality, hence the name "Third Eye."

Third Eye

This track is overall a fusion of melodic techno with electro house. It aims to borrow some of the things that were good about the "big room EDM" era and infuse it with more modern club-driven flavors. The song feels like it's always a step ahead of you, much like how Mondays feel, hence the name. It features two drops and a good amount of negative space so that both the track and listener get a few chances to "breathe." I spoke with someone who makes EDM for a living, and one thing that stuck with me was the importance of intent and contrast. Some of the tracks start in offbeat positions as a result, and some parts are placed in a manner to make the track feel more "unpredictable." This is my attempt at contrast lol. 

The track is in the key of C Phrygian and was composed/produced in Ableton Live 12 Suite.
