Andre Frauenstein (Lostly) is a name firmly established as one of the most exciting new stars in melodic trance but his origins were firmly established in the London Acid techno scene where he used to run shoulders with the Liberator DJs, Dave The Drummer, DDR and the Stay Up Forever community. Here, with Circuit Code, Andre finds a new home on DIT where he can return to his roots and release brilliant techno that fits immaculately into any style of banging set. My musical journey started when I was about six years old when I heard someone playing music outside my house. 

This particular music was DJ hype at the old rave dreamscape. That was it I was hooked￼￼￼

As a ￼10-year-old I asked for a CD called Rave generation.I was then introduced to the prodigy/ altern8 /and Acen

Early teens I decided to start buying vinyls and DJing. I moved away from the rave scene and started listening to early house music ￼Brandon Block Alex P Carl Cox￼

These have massive influences on my music tastes and life however very early into my DJ career I discovered OceanLab a.k.a. Above & Beyond that was a complete game changer that was it trance music was for me￼

I’ve DJs at small venues big venues and absolutely loved it

I do enjoy mixing lots of different genres from Balearic house/ funky house/trance /and hard house￼￼

My  main focus is now power trance/tech trance 

I use all these different music genres in my production and try new different elements from different decades to make my tracks stand out.
