Through His Gaze deconstructs 3 poems by W. B. Yeats, exploring his simultaneous adoration and resentment of women. 

Commissioned by the 2020 Presteigne Festival.  The work was premiered at Presteigne Digital in August 2020.

Amelia is a Northern Irish composer based in London.  She is currently studying towards her masters in composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, as a Trinity College London Scholar.  She is also generously supported by the Ralph Vaughan Williams Trust.  Amelia is honoured to be Trinity Laban's nominee to receive the Worshipful Company of Musician's 2018 Silver Medal.
