I wrote Finite while I was loosing someone I was very attached to but that I also knew was really bad for me. During this I started thinking about how every time I have lost someone or my heart has broken it has made me a better writer and it has inspired me in some dark and twisted way. I thought it would be kind of fun and cynical to write a love song about the impermanence of relationships. To me this song says, its powerful to loose someone who was always going to hurt you, there is no need to fear abandonment, and wether the relationship is good or bad it is kind of beautiful that everything and everyone is finite. Everything would be meaningless if it wasn't.

This is a cover from The Bee Gees song "How deep is your love". It was written by Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb and produced by them as well as Karl Richardson and Albhy Galuten. This version is produced and performed by Lilou Chance.
I've always love the soft grooviness of their version so I wanted to have something dark while still being groovy. With this version, you can hear a certain toxicity in the lyrics, the singer asks : how much do you love me because I love you so much. This plead for love appears in the dark toned instruments and the hard groove laid by the drums.

How Deep Is Your Love "Lilou's version"

This is a song I wrote about a person in my life who didn't deserve the kindness I gave them. It represents the moment I realized I could no longer give them kindness or care if they could not give it back.
