In a distant world, there existed an endless river of cosmic, metallic fluid known as 'Exonda'. This river, normally serene, was moved to overflowing by the wrath of an alien god. Angered by the inhabitants' advanced technology, the god unleashed their fury, causing 'Exonda' to surge through the planet with unstoppable force. The river plunged the world into turmoil, its energy and chaos echoing through the rhythmic dexterity of Ruff Cherry's latest work.

At last, a collection of best-kept unreleased tracks from one of our most prolific artists is emerging as a 5-track collection, 'Exonda EP'—unannounced but unsurprisingly solid in its delivery. Ruff Cherry returns to Midgar to inaugurate our new digital side catalogue, where artists will focus on their strongest club-oriented cuts. These releases will bridge the gaps between our physical records, keeping a continuous flow of music during otherwise quieter months.

Exonda EP

We’re thrilled to welcome back @konalgad to Dance Data, this time with his debut LP, “Club Dream”. Spread across two discs for maximum fidelity, this is sound system music with grooves primed for mixing and dialed-to-a-tee bass weight, but hovering above the grounded structures are fleeting rhythmic textures that veer things off into a world worth getting lost in. Throughout its 11 tracks, “Club Dream” plays out like a full mix, ebbing and flowing through a variety of energy levels and moods. Some of the range you’ll find here includes half-time dream-step, peak time pulses, and dubbed out mid-tempo tech, all done with a cohesive restraint and appreciation of atmosphere. The record imparts it’s own kind of dance floor dream logic onto the listener, inviting us to let go of making sense of things and trust in its fuzzy logic.

Konalgad - Club Dream LP (DDR006)

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

Midgar affiliate Forest Drive West uses the opportunity to present not one but two remixes. Presenting one half-time 85 bpm twist of Hazard and another slow-paced murky techno groover. Originally from Montreal, Maara forms the Canadian connection and she turns Memory Palace into a beautiful bouncy dub-techno floater. Sound experimentalist Notte Infinita takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism. At last, Amsterdam’s upsammy brings back the light with her iconic playful approach. She flips the steady groove of Glass Shards into a jumpy interplay of rhythms and joy.

Hazard (Forest Drive West 85 Remix)

traverse is proud to announce the release of its first record - a compilation of six tracks from various artists, inspired by Pembroke King’s poem moving silhouettes, written for this occasion.

As the fourth volume of the compilation series “traversée”, moving silhouettes encourages artists to explore all corners of listening music and creative avenues that aren’t tied to any one convention. 

Pembroke King’s poem sheds light on the mood of the compilation, and even though each artist brings its own interpretation of it, there is a beautiful harmony of it all - from Kate Miller’s atmospheric sounds to Teqmun’s drums-made-of-rain-drop-recordings or Ghjuliú’s nostalgic melodies, the listener travels around Pembroke’s words with each track. 

As our first physical release, we feel honoured to collaborate with artists who have been involved in a way or another on traverse before such as Officium, Mika Oki and Alohn, but Kate Miller, Teqmun, and Ghjuliú, that we’ve been keeping close to our heart for a long time already.

The single “Inertia” is the first glimpse into Signals from the Stars — Vietnamese Paris-based artist https://soundcloud.com/d-k-music’s upcoming EP, due mid-July on Midgar.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia taps into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.
