In 2020, the melodic progressive world was taken by storm by Japan's own, Yusuke Teranishi. His debut album, Over the World's clouds, having followed a streak of buzz-generating EP's and singles, was a successful and eye-opening release that further ventured this talented artist into the top yearly producers. Fast forward a year later and we're ecstatic to unveil a project the whole progressive community should be proud of, the remixed album of the aforementioned release. Bringing together no less than 18 remixers for stunning renditions, spanning from pure melodic progressive gems, to deeper organic house cuts and inventive melo ambient pieces, this is a joy to listen to from start to end. Returning here on Synth, this is Yusuke Teranishi with 'Over the world's clouds' in remixed form, a telltale of both our hemispheres coming together within music.

Tis’ the season for even more pensive moods, reflective thoughts, and nonchalant reverie with our third remixed album. We are delighted to present seven fabulous remixed tracks by an all-star ensemble, which includes label veterans and returnees, but features three prominent names in melodic progressive: Nils Karr, Yusuke Teranishi, and Skua.

Dutch producer Nils Karr debuts with a beautiful remix of "Grateful" emphasized by soothing orchestrated strings. Skua returns with a brilliant remix of "Angels" that features a groovy rhythm and melodic motifs. Yusuke Teranishi debuts with an incredible interpretation of "Orange Skies." This intro mix is a melodic progressive house fan's balearic dream! Aeolu5 uses the "True Power" to weave profound storytelling into dreamy progressive in this version of "The Wheel of Time." Ciree is back with sunshine and "Moonlight," beautifully crafting a remix to satisfy the melodic gods. Kataploks "Sanguine" remix is a driving progressive dream embellished by melodic motifs. Shion Hinano's remix of "Lumen Crystalli" is a burgeoning beauty that helps define balearic progressive.

Russian producer Mekao has been a part of the progressive house community, and now he debuts his first official release on our imprint.

"Tomorrow" has a nice deep, sultry vibe. Together with guitar plucks, the overlying pad gives off a deep house ambiance. Let us hope that today paves the way for a better tomorrow. "Distant" has a more upbeat tempo and is much more progressive than its titular cousin. The basslines are riveting and churn with the mesmerizing synth pads.

One of Arrival's core artists, Russian artist Gregory Esayan, has previously showcased his talent with EPs such as "One Way Ticket" and "Cold Breath". His music has been supported by the likes of Solarstone, Jaytech, Ruben De Ronde, and Boom Jinx, and since his first appearance on Silk in 2012, he has only continued to present listeners with unique and uplifting songs. We're extremely proud to present Gregory's debut artist album, "Impressionism", on Arrival, featuring 10 inspiring progressive cuts. 

The title track begins with a hypnotic female speech segment, while Gregory's signature arpeggio lines build up in the background. "On The Horizon" features unique guitar riffs and gorgeous vocal effects. The break introduces lush piano lines, as well as intricate percussion stems. A splendid atmosphere is quickly established in "Your Warmth", the break of which sees the introduction of outstanding synth work and various sound effects. Previously featured as a single on parent label Silk Digital which reached #35 on the Beatport Breaks Top 100 chart, "Starman" features a stunning breakbeat and wonderful layered melodies. "Once More", featuring Japanese pop singer and song-writer Ai Takekawa, is a blissful song composed of Ai's beautiful vocals and Gregory's unmistakably well-crafted melodies and textures. Starting out with space-inspired radio chatter, "Call Of Space" features smooth percussion elements, as well as enjoyable string layers that we witness in the break. "Drawing The Life" starts out with a wealth of interesting sound effects and well-crafted female vocal stems. The soundscape slowly evolves, and is beautifully supported by subtle guitar riffs. Ai Takekawa makes her second appearance on this album in "Monday Night". The memorable chorus hook is smoothly enhanced by the vast array of unique melodies. Starting out with a tremendous atmosphere with wondrous sound effects, "Pilgrimage" features a prominent bassline groove and goose bumps-inducing sounds throughout the entire song. Closing out the album, "Triumph" starts with a unique and energetic riff, later accompanied by Gregory's signature guitar riffs and lush female vocal stems.

'One couldn't be further from the truth thinking Johan Strandh's artist alias Winterya evokes winter, cold and grey musical landscapes. On the contrary, his productions have that warm, welcoming, often melancholic but always positively uplifting sound that is a genre definition of melodic progressive. We've been fortunate to release his track High Coast as part of our autumn collective compilation and having been one of the highlights on the release, we couldn't pass up the chance to offer some remixes to compliment its vision. Today's pack includes three works of art, three stellar remixes from as many artists. First up we have James Kerwin, a producer you've already familiar with and that we're proud to have back as his remix is nothing short of brilliant with its deep bassline and exquisite musical storytelling. Being a new addition to our roster, Z8phyR is already showing his worth, his remix is more laidback and groovier, surely putting the listener in a good mood. We've kept the surprise for last as ReDub's remix merges tropical house and ambient with real string instruments for a true wow factor production. Craftsmanship at its best, this is another Synth release for the books. '
