"A Place For Us" is the story of a girl who has to leave her home to find a better future.
This song is about the melancholy that she feels in remembering the place that has grown her (a place that she's missing a lot), but also of the hope of living better days in a new distant place.
I think it can connect to those who are approaching a new independent path of life or to those who have to run away from a country that can no longer give them anything or that is experiencing a dramatic moment.
