London-based artists and real-life partners Amiide and Laura Ribeiro are set to release their first collaborative single, “Better Days,” on October 10 — aligning with World Mental Health Day.
Marking a new chapter since relocating from Tokyo to London and getting married, the pair deliver a warm yet soulful blend of Hip hop and R&B, infused with the breezy rhythms of Bossa nova. Produced and mixed by Amiide, the track radiates calm optimism.
With lyrics like “You don’t have to worry about anything. From now on, only better days are coming. So let’s stay here just a little longer,” the song offers a message of hope and gentle encouragement.
The cover art was directed by New York–based graphic designer Sho Hanafusa, who has recently worked on album covers for Robert Glasper.
