Born in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania as DeAndre Viloria, he was raised in Gloucester County, New Jersey. His love of music came from various styles such as hip-hop, R&B/soul, House, Disco, Salsa, Reggaeton, Jazz, & Pop music. Drey was inspired by artists such as Jay Z, Kanye West, Nas, Drake, & 2 Chainz to name a few. As a youngster he was interested in music, acting, and clothing, with an entrepreneur teenage mindset, he created skits and a gaming channel on YouTube, and by the age of 13, he began rapping.

Around the age of 15, Drey took rapping more seriously, when he realized that music was a great tool of expression, a way to create vibes and bring them to life, he saw the importance of speaking his mind through music.
 
An artist who believes in himself, he has a clear focus on what’s important in his life, fighting his temptations, and staying faithful throughout everything. He aspires to motivate others, encourage others to take risks in life, to be different, and to bring positive energy to people around the world.
