I'm just some guy who has always liked weird music of all sorts and had a vision to blend it all together. Somewhere in between 90s indie rock, 70s psych rock, and modern jam and indie is A Rose Named Earl. Just like everything else, it's a work in progress. Stay tuned for a full album, hopefully late 2024, to be released on all major platforms.
Although it's being recorded one day a week, one instrument at a time in my dining room studio so... if you like your art slow, you've come to the right place.

Hyper Lightning Hydra is a one man project exploring the reaches of music with massive layers of sound designed to seduce the listener into some sort of musically orientated metaphysical sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. Spiritually driven. Sensually climatic. The music of the Hyper Lightning Hydra will push you to new mental limits through a sublime balance of cacophony and harmony, in a myriad of styles and genres, by resonating in the deepest cavities of your being.
