A sincere and heartfelt R.I.P to Mr. Gene Wilder.

This is a tribute I offer from many, many moons ago when my only recording tool was a dull microphone and I was lacking experience and comprehension in mixing.

As I was when I first watched you as Willy Wonka, lacking experience and comprehension in life. I will never forget your face.

When it takes all I have just to push through,
what do I give to you?
When my mind has been left aware and confused,
what do i think of you?

I know that it's not easy even breathing, believe me
I've just come to find the side where things are cool and breezy, because
this life is undefined in any way and that's okay.
I know that any day can be the greatest day and it just takes
a poised approach to change the ropes and pulleys utilized by my mind..
The sandbags fill with Time, but if we work with enough instruments,
we could swim against the currents. Where our curb sits,
we're only a quarter-way through this.
So, we've got three times what we've spent learning shit 
to learn how to work it and do it with purpose.
Don’t let the screams of your your dreams 
fall on the deaf ears of nervousness. 
Worship self expression 
whether a pound of lead 
or crushed petals in paste
and forget the rubber block 
because nothing can truly be erased.

And when you find that you reside on the side of the line
where things can be defined but not objectified, you'll realize
that the years you spent on what you called "living" then
were nothing but an embarrassment. 
The empty set is always met with regret.

You have to learn not to let that turn you away 
from the perspectives of yesterday.
A wise mind always reconsiders all the options.
And, whether you find them right or wrong, the arbiter's arm 
is always stronger when it gets exercised more often.

Soften your soul and rest your soles in the shoes of your brothers and sisters.
Some have holes, some don't wear shoes on their feet; just blisters.
Resist the urge to consider yourself before another,
because, when we move like a serpent, in unison, we can't be tread on.
One vision in rhythm:
Love.
