Born in Tehran, 1991, the now Paris- based Vocalist/ Lyricist/ Composer, "Sara Bigdeli Shamloo" (aka SarrSew) , is one-half of the duo "9T Antiope" since 2014 and together they've had releases on multiple labels such as "PTP (Purple Tape Pedigree)", "Eilean Rec.", "Hallow Ground", "Zabte Sote/ Opal Tapes", "Flaming Pines", "Unperceived Records" and an upcoming project on "American Dreams":Initially starting music as a classical
violin player, she became the vocalist of "Migrain Sq." alongside "Nima Aghiani" -the other half of "9T Antiope"- and "Pouya Pour-Amin", back in 2011. A second duo she has recently created with Nima Aghiani in 2020, is “Taraamoon” which focuses more on alternative electronic music with lyrics in Farsi. As "SarrSew", other than her solo works, throughout the years she'd produced a number of creations for theatre and film; also active as a performer, she acts and occasionally illustrates. As a result of her -abandoned- studies of Theatre Directing at "Tehran University" -also/perhaps- her music is a melange of storytelling, dramatic lyrics and vocals woven together with electronics and acoustic instruments.
As of 2018, she's been producing a multimedia project, an Album/Monologue/Performance, "Loss in The Living Room: An Homage To Death".
From her performances, a few are: Sonic Acts with "9T Antiope" - Amsterdam (2019) / CTM with "9T Antiope" - Berlin (2019) / Mutek Festival with "9T Antiope" - Barcelona (2018) / SETxCTM "9T Antiope" - Tehran (2018) / CTM Festival, with "9T Antiope" - Berlin (2017)/ Fuchsbau Festival with "9T Antiope" - Hanover (2017) / “Migrain Sq.” concert in “Veranos de la Villa” music festival - Madrid (2013) / “GAIA, A Cyborg Opera” as Performer and Composer (2020) / “Golden Age of Extremes” musical Theatre as Performer and Composer (2019) / “Pinocchio" musical Theatre as Composer / “Slow Sound of Snow” Theatre as Actress/ “Swim Team” Theatre as actress, vocalist/ "Don`t know about tomorrow" theatre as Composer/ etc.
