Dabbling on the decks was a natural progression for Seher’s love and appreciation of music and beats. 

Seher combines her naturally eclectic style and love of house music with her alluring sounds….mixed with love for your auditory pleasure. 

Emerging from many moments of losing herself on the dance floors of London and Europe, music really came alive for this woman who believes that music is what feelings sound like. Having faithful friends in the industry and exposure to talent, this was the perfect place to find her DJ roots!

After purchasing her first set of decks in 2010, Seher admits "It was an all-in-one kit that looked like a toy – but I loved it.” Toy or not, it was enough to get those creative juices and hidden talents flowing to allow her to move into the public space. This was a heavy dose of fuel to an already well-lit fire. The flames continued to burn brightly and 2014 presented a blaze of success, which saw Seher supporting international artists Stacey Pullen, Hernan Cattaneo, Mark Knight, D Ramirez, Redshape, Dubfire and the Sankey’s 20th Anniversary Australian tour with Darius Syrossian and Yousef. In between the clubs Seher warms the air waves of Bondi with her radio show Yes Please. 

With her sound full of deep house, tech house and progressive flavours, Seher plays music that evokes good memories and heart-felt emotion; to create those moments when you simply want to ‘Dance like No One’s Watching’

Rooted in diverse influences, Amirali is a live instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and classically trained pianist, coupled with an architectural education. This fusion yields a rich, layered sound, showcasing his unique understanding of musical elements.

His journey led to performances on the inaugural BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix video broadcast and global tours, gracing iconic venues from Berghain, Fabric, and Warehouse Project Manchester, to the Vienna Opera House and Warung in Brazil.

In a continual quest for artistic innovation, Amirali founded Dark Matters—a label and visual project embracing the weird and wonderful. His second studio album, 'Trial & Error', garnered critical acclaim, leading to a groundbreaking collaboration with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, hailed as their best in the series.

Fast-forward to 2023, Amirali's avant-garde sophomore album sparked a creative renaissance. Now, he returns to the dance floor with three EPs featuring six powerful tracks, already charting and praised by industry leaders. With dance music at the forefront, he plans an extensive 2024 release schedule and a new live stage show.

Dark Matters remains a hub for emerging talent, aligning with Amirali's commitment to pushing musical boundaries while cultivating a refined, genre-defying statement. The future unfolds as Amirali redefines the landscape with his revitalised creativity and unwavering dedication to the art of sound.
