The simple power of DRAMA’s musical expression is matched only by that of their work ethic. Since 2014, the Chicago-based duo have bootstrapped a subtle rise on their own terms, self-releasing several EPs and mapping multiple tours with Midwestern grit. A multicultural collaboration between producer Na’el Shehade and vocalist Via Rosa, the project plays to the complementary dynamics of their unlikely pairing, blurring the lines between R&B and dance-pop, heartbreak and bliss.

Rosa grew up in a musical household; her parents played in a reggae band, they toured as a family, homeschooling Rosa into her early teens, limiting her listening primarily to Sade, oldies, Brazilian and Afrobeat music. After moving to Chicago, she connected with hip-hop collective THEMPeople. Born in Chicago, Shehade fell in love with DJ culture as a kid and took up music production and engineering; his interest eventually led to professional opportunities, including studio work with Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, and music projects for MTV and Bravo.

In early jam sessions the chemistry was clear; Rosa’s soulful delivery interlocked with Shehade’s chic Chicago house-infused production style. A lovesick sound emerged over two EPs — Gallows in 2016 and Lies After Love in 2018 — and caught the ear of Ghostly International. With its founding roots in the Midwest, independent philosophy, and wayward approach to electro-pop and dance music, the label proved to be the logical home for the next era of DRAMA.

Canis is an Iranian alternative RnB Singer/music producer based in the United Kingdom. 

The singer was born in Iran 15/03/1993, later moving to the United Kingdom in 2004, canis was 13 when he found an irreplaceable love for singing. 

the singer started to learn to produce on his own from the age of fourteen due to the limitations of instrumentals that he could sing on meaning he didn't hear the character that he had in his mind from any other producers. 

Canis has sang and produced for and alongside notable Iranian artists like Mehrad Hidden, Ho3ein, Shayea, Erfan. Canis’s music is alternative RnB and sometimes Rap with unique production and character. 

He is recognized for his work on the ”Toonel” album where he produced 80% of the album after the album leading to a collaboration with Erfan where canis sang wrote and produced the song 

Canis had made an outstanding entrance to the Iranian music industry and that is just the start.
