Band of Badgers Presents aims to introduce some great music from talented bands and artists out there on the independent music scene today.

There will also be talk about gigs and festivals and if you're lucky there may be a few asides which it will be my mission to make at least a little bit funny. Please give me time!

All in all Band of Badgers Presents endeavours to bring you a playlist that will inspire you to check out the featured artists further.

Lived through 60's & 70's music. Followed people like Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones. But now that music is freely available given the fantastic affordable technology there is so much good stuff around to listen too. Who cares about what's in the charts, think and decide for yourself.

Anne-Marie's songs tell stories of freedom, capitalism and the human condition.

Anne-Marie's latest song release "Rest Your Mind" takes on a psychedelic tribal vibe and caputres the contentness of deep connection and insight when faced with an otherwise chaotic world.

The Lost Notes write songs about things that matter. Like the perils of one night stands and plastic surgery, the plight of bankers, greaseballs, snakes, Greco-Roman health and safety failings, mules, mermaids and the downright miserable. 

 Formed in 2014, The Lost Notes are a 5-piece band based in Moseley, Birmingham, UK. A place where politics, drunkenness, misery and glee abound. It makes for a great night out.  They write songs for chin-strokers, foot-stompers, head-nodders and those who like to partake in the dark art of inarticulate dancing and hollering. It happens. And they love it.
