With much passion and desire in dance music, he began learning the ropes and embarked on his journey in DJ’ing in year 2008. With guidance from Malaysia’s very own best progressive DJ Ian Ross and hard work, aReeL has now transcended to be one of our hidden progressive talents. 

Quoted by his loyal followers, he is regarded as a progressive house encyclopedia. Equipped with a massive collection of progressive house selections, aReeL definitely shines. It goes without saying that his eclectic mix is much to be looked forward to. Noted as a truly talented and motivated performer, he never fails to deliver an exceptional style of playing with his very own unique vibes.

He embarked on his mixing journey in 2001, cultivating a style that is now synonymous with deep, melodic progressions and long, mesmerizing transitions. Agape - An unconditional love for everyone. Perhaps the most important type of love, agape, or selfless love. This is a love that you extended to all people, whether family members or distant strangers. Agape was later translated into Latin as caritas, which is the origin of our word “charity.”

Born and brought up in the eastern subcontinent of India, Nakul Talwar, also known as NAX, was heavily influenced by the euphoric sounds of the Goa trance scene at a young age. This early love for deep and melodic shades of dance music left a lasting mark on his musical preference. His taste and performance style has since evolved to grow closer to the darker and more magnetic dance floor beats found in European techno while still retaining his core deeper sound signature.

Through this juxtaposition NAX brings a unique flavor and ambience to the dance floor that is easy to identify but hard to classify, combining deep, progressive, hypnotic and moody selections within the umbrellas of house and techno.

NAX has performed alongside several industry heavyweights including Bedouin, Âme, Trikk, Ann Clue, Moritz Hofbauer, Brian Cid, Matan Caspi, Nils Hoffmann, GRUM, Simon Doty & Shai T. He currently lives and spins in Chicago, USA and organizes events as part of the Midnight Rush collective which is aimed at showcasing these often underappreciated styles of dance music.
