At AFM we have been fixated on Coke Studio melodies for a long time, Clinton gave us yet another reason to pull up our sleeves and strain our vein! Madari was a difficult and 'tire to sweat' pick for AFM. Music had never been an issue on this, instead vocals were the challenge. Enter Vaishnavi! Trained in Hindustani Classical singing for very long and an ardent practitioner, Vaishnavi had this song ready in a jiffy. She gives a lot of Bollywood playback mood to the song that helps the other instruments/ elements to sync in together and produce a resonance. She loses breath and focus due to one of the shifts towards the end of the song, thanks to Prakhar. He just could not get the cues right here, too used to singing simple melodies like the nursery rhymes it seemed. Inspired by Police, Prakhar's love for augmentation got him through to figure out the initials followed by Nikhil who probably felt like shredding in slow-mo. We could not get Nikhil to feel the song and we understand playing mandolin on ESP can get you nightmares, but it all got balanced when the 'wah ji wah' came in. Apoorv was there to take care of the rest of balancing, by playing poisonous notes and doing his 'locking popping'. But just when the chorus arrives, you can feel the happiness among these superhuman. Pushkar did awesomely well in getting basic hits/ structure almost perfectly considering he uses a deformed kit but again he is another brother and does not give a flying cow about the cues.

Beauty to capture here is that the whole band is missing on the cues but they are still in sync which was not possible without the "hand of metronome". This hand kept conducting the orchestra and belonged to none other than Jatin, who also helped with the correct arpeggios keeping the arrangement healthy but again our brother brilliantly misses the stress points.
