My precious cat, Socsana, passed away on May 22, 2022 at the age of 16.  On her birthday, August 1, I was still grief-stricken and wrote this song.  It's been very difficult to finish but I thought someone might be hurting for their fur baby this holiday season and find some comfort in knowing they are not alone.

I was feeling sad after being attacked online by someone I'd been trying to help.  It was a "moment in between" for me.  I sat down and wrote this song, channeling the negativity into something positive because love is all we need.
