Get a sneak peak into the YARN studio: the emerging psychill producer duo made us an exclusive mix of almost entirely unreleased psychedelic downtempo gems, fresh out of the oven. The Yarn show is on air on the Chill channel from 30th October Wednesday, 8pm CET.
Hungarian Ferenc Majercsik and Nandor Horvath, the young producers behind Yarn are creating deep and imaginative chill-out music together since 2011. They are relentlessly working on new enchanting tunes to be released on Psylife Records in the near future and are already after three succesful releases. Their debut album YARNIA came out only a few months before the Yarn guys received an invitation to play the mind-boggling tunes in the Chillout Dome of O.Z.O.R.A. Festival in 2013. Their live set in Ozora turned quite a few heads since then and was followed by two beautiful EP releases: Questions & Answers and just recently Inner Expedition.
Yarn music sounds like a constant metamorphosis of swirling ambient soundscapes, touching melodies and floating beats. A playful fusion of mesmerizing rhythms and mystic atmospheres always with a hint of psychedelic effects. This time we don't give you a tracklist because the material is almost entirely unreleased and most of the works are still unnamed as well...

Ozzy Cetin aka FREETECH, RAMIZES and MYSTICISM was born in 1984 in Istanbul, Turkey and met with electronic music at the age of 14. He kept listening and gathering a huge archive of House & Trance music until he found out Psy-Trance over the albums of Kox Box, Cosmosis, Hallucinogen, Astrix, Shiva Shidapu, Goa Gil, Astral Projection etc. in 2002. Starting to get interested to this genre, he started to gather psy-trance archive which still continues. Ozzy organized various indoor psy-trance parties and mixed tracks as RAMIZES between 2003 - 2007 in Turkey. Meanwhile, he helped out his producer friends by giving them ideas and loops for their new tracks. From 2011 to 2014, he worked as Production Manager for his friend TMX MIND's company MIND MANIFEST PROJECT and mixed as a DJ. Ozzy now is a freelance DJ.

Ozzy as a DJ, mixes ‘Hi-Tech & Darkpsy’ as FREETECH; ‘Progressive/Full-on/Morning-Psy as RAMIZES; ‘Psybient/Downtempo’ as MYSTICISM. My name is Pedro Monteiro and my curiosity to explore the musical creativity started early. In 2001 the desire was too much and so were the following years until in 2007 the Balancé project became real.
From there I have been exploring spontaneous creativity and ease about my musical language. 

An Portugal based producer of psychedelic chillout his music reflects their emotions and feelings. Without any intention, their productions are created to provide a search comfortable and intimate.
Blends with the environment by extending the space of our imagination, letting it flow quietly, smiling.

Counting with experiments as Boom Festival, Zagoa Festival and many other events, Balancé is a pleasant experience that will draw in the most amazing stories.

Known only by his moniker, 23-year-old Londoner @CatchingFliesMusic caught our attention over a year ago with The Long Journey Home EP. The illusive DJ and producer makes cinematic dreamscapes that sit quite nicely alongside those of 2014 tour buddy Bonobo, and, with a debut album in the works and a third EP about to surface, our appetites have been whet by the sweet nostalgia of Quiet Night. A fan of i-D’s Slumber Session series, Catching Flies has put together one of his own and it’s one of our all-time favourites. “I’ve always been inspired by soundtracks and interested in the impact music has on picture and vice versa, so the idea was to create a soundtrack to the story of someone’s life.” CF explains. “It was nice to completely disregard the dancefloor and make something purely for home listening. The tunes are a mix of new and old and the idea is that you’re taken on a journey.” This slumber session is a soundtrack to the film of your imaginary life. Drift away and live vicariously.

“The sorbet is a very tasty treat for those long, hot summer days.”

Sorbet for the Soul is a collaboration between Globular (UK) (www.facebook.com/Globular) and Radioactive Sandwich (USA) (www.radioactivesandwich.com). This project came about from the desire to combine their amazing talents to create a very special conceptual release. Each artist started with the same set of samples and built their tracks around those sounds. Globular cooked up Lemon, while Radioactive Sandwich provided the tasty Mango. They then traded tracks and reinterpreted the other’s original track. Globular created Mamon from Mango, and Radioactive Sandwich created Lengo from Lemon. The end product is a 4 song EP that flows and blends seamlessly, each track containing flavors from the others, much like a tasty summer frozen treat. The artwork was provided by the insanely talented Sid Basu (www.sidbasu.com).
