The first Podcast of the New Year! Were running a little  late due to a number of reasons, mainly because of finishing off a bunch of new music, so hopefully thats an acceptable reason enough. In the meantime we even put out Flex VIP, if you havent got that yet then head over to here.

I’m Silly Tina—an LA producer/visual artist. Pushing Up Daisies is my debut album: thirteen tracks of distortion therapy, emotional spirals, and imaginary friends with boundary issues. I don’t just write tracks—I become them. Each song is its own unstable character; it’s method acting, but louder. A little dissociative. A little unhinged. Call it method producing. Here's the result of such a hard music production week, hope u enjoy!

7VibesChallenge Rules:

- Be open-minded and “crazy” if needed, push your creativity to the next level.
- Each day of the 7DC runs from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. of the following day.
- You may complete a challenge the following day, but only once during the week.
- Every track must be at least 3 minutes long. The longest a song can last is 5:00.
- On one day of your choice, you must compose outside.
- Record yourself as proof that the challenge is properly completed.
- You can't listen to the other artist's tracks until the day of the meeting
- Allow AI for lyrics but not for the arrangement and the ideas
- 1 Music video ( you choose the song and the day)
- Most important: Have fun ;)

Cosmic Bridge welcomes back Crypticz, aka English producer Jordan Parsons, for another EP of deep dancefloor experimentation full of dubwise textures and surprises. Since his 2017 release for the label, Parsons has shed technical limitations in the studio, opening himself up to new ways of writing and performing. This growth is reflected in The Path with four tracks that further stretch and redefine the sonic boundaries of jungle and dub.

The opening title track is an epic jungle-influenced roller inspired by ideas of predetermination, choice and the butterfly effect. At just over 8 minutes long, “The Path” stretches out ahead of the listener, letting some of what’s ahead be heard while still leading the listener down unsuspecting detours. Melding tribal, dub and cinematic approaches, Crypticz takes jungle to a new level with clever sampling, layering and a real flair for progression. “Teachings” follows this with a strong sound system vibe, a tune to unite the people in the dance through sound. Inspired by a particularly powerful night at the Trinity Centre, it’s a slow skanker with a percussive groove, deep bass rumblings and layers of effected samples to create a meditative vibe.

Opening the B-side is another spiritual number, “Inner One Dub.” From the center of a slow and steady riddim, the track unspools methodically with bass pressure and an array of delicate melodies and sound effects with the result a gentle marriage of dub and techno practices that brings to mind classics from the Rhythm & Sound catalogue. The EP ends with “Lost One” and a return to a wider cinematic scope. As with the opener, this is a ride to strap in for with delicate atmospheres and pads underpinned by a tight break and solid bass that evoke both the freneticism of jungle and eyes-down power of dubstep.

“Sonically the sounds of jungle are more present across this record,” says Crypticz. “It’s a record I’m really proud of and shines a light into where I’m heading.” With its solid dub foundation and fresh approach to classic tenants of UK dance music, The Path is an essential consideration for seekers of deeper dancefloor sounds.

BURELOM Music is the oldest among the jungle/drum & bass vinyl labels currently active in Russia. It mostly dedicated to presenting the Russian scene to the whole world.
This V/A 4-tracker (and a sampler which was released last year) compiled especially for the 5th anniversary of label. 
A1. "This Song" is a epic remix on Mirror Network project made by Dissident after label owner's request, because the atmosphere of the track could be revealed again in neuro-jungle form.
A2. "Process" dedicated to all the real vinyl DJs and intelligent jungle sound of the late 90s. "Vinyl DJ is not a profession for a long time, but a process of comprehending music, interesting, first of all to him himself" - our friend declares at the beginning of the track and this thought was artificially reflected by Limit aka Asymmetric. 
B1. "Chic (Rave Mix)" by Wacky Gee is an electrified, minimalistic track that injects a bit of nostalgia and vigor into the ears of any old raver. In a miraculous way, He combined in himself references to 8-bit music for gaming consoles, early jungle-techno sound, a mixture of jungle and breakbeat. The track is not for everyone, but a medicine against old age for those for whom it is vital.
B2. Ant To Be is a bright star on the breakbeat scene, not stopping to experiment with neighboring genres. His unhurried, nocturnal, light, like a breeze jungle track called "Done At Midnight" stands out positively against the amen break madness background that has covered us lately. "Done At Midnight" perfectly complemented and closed this vinyl compilation. The release of the most diverse in atmosphere and complexity, so each of you will find here your favorite track.

Mark Kloud steps up with a killer remix for today's premiere! Presenting a unique take on Dojo boss Hex's 2015 track Weightless, Mark flips the liquid original into an experimental epic, building slowly with incredible sound design before dropping into a frenzy of glitchy percussion and groaning bass.
