Returning to Token with his second solo contribution for the label, Ignez invites us back into his sonic world with his new chapter ‘Aventurine’. Providing yet again a record with novel texture and spatial work, Ignez guides us through a 4 track project orchestrated with intent and skill. 

‘Aventurine’ introduces the EP assertively with his unmistakably cinematographic approach. The title-track proves to be of considerable dimension, a precise and impactful percussion-line cuts through distant atmospheres, rendered all the more dramatic with the presence of a cello. Ignez then takes down the narrative tone a notch to make space for the A2 ‘Seraphic’, narrowing his focus and stripping down the record. Giving the track time to sink in an expertly crafted tension, it isn’t until halfway through that the main attraction is revealed. Reverse, spiraling stabs dot along a persistently imposing rhythm to make ‘Seraphic’ very representative of a style that Ignez has claimed over the past few years. Whipping outward with white noise to accentuate the listener’s notion of space, we arrive finally to the second half of ‘Aventurine’. A perfect follow-up to the last cut awaits under the name ‘Verdant’. Dry percussion and string-like stabs, this time sharper and more metallic, make for a record where timing is the driving force. More mute than the previous tracks, ‘Verdant’ makes a perfect dip into the final element of the EP - ‘Cure’. Back into a more harmonic style, Ignez uses vocals and background synth work to create tonality before throwing in the ear-candy. Spacing out elements to conclude the EP in a meditative fashion, Ignez once again strikes a balance between technical knowhow and acute storytelling.

Crea Legacy 001 marks a milestone in the evolution of the collective, as we proudly present the inaugural release from CREA Records. This first entry in the Crea Legacy series is a powerful statement of intent, showcasing the diverse talents of CREA's resident artists from music to digital art. The record features four meticulously crafted tracks from no.name, Alarico, and Endrew, each contributing their unique sonic identity to this eclectic compilation, complemented by a 3D sculpture from 4C.

Crea Legacy 001 kicks off with with Alarico's "Sleeping Dog" a percussive techno track that captures deep, primal energy perfect for peak dancefloor moments. No.name’s "Tag" brings a sleek, minimalist vibe, driven by a bouncing bassline. On the flip side Endrew’s "Rescue Of Airon" takes a more intricate approach, weaving in aquatic ambience with intricate sound design, while no.name's "District" rounds off the compilation with a playful and timeless hypnotic groove.

The artwork captures a personal representation of a hidden celestial body. The composition blends organic, fluid shapes with a cosmic essence, evoking the mysterious and dynamic nature of an unknown universe.

A leader of the Portuguese wave in techno co-founding Hayes Collective while boasting acclaimed releases on Klockworks, Blueprint, and Soma, Temudo grabs the reins to take club music back to its days of audacity and risk taking. A more than promising up-and-comer turned modern reference, Temudo defends his reputation with a release showcasing depth in his various sonic universes and a deep understanding of his music’s history. For its seventh release, Temudo’s ‘Meteora’ is a logical next step for the club’s direction - a sweet spot between dancefloor efficiency and enduring aesthetic.

Combining the intrigue of mental soundscapes with the reliability of imposing rhythm, ‘Meteora’ finds itself collected, expressing effect through restraint. The title track, claiming the EP’s A1, is just that - a force of interweaving sound design and powerful micro transitions. Some believe the best techno records are able to express emotion and attitude despite its dissonant and machinelike nature; if that’s the case then Temudo has mastered the craft. ‘When I Grow Up’, however, puts the focus back on the body. What sounds like warbling tape modulation over a percussive lead makes this record an addictively delirious ride from start to finish, fitting in with the track before while shifting to different priorities. Proving his versatility, ‘Vrthng’ at first seems reminiscent of the minimal Berlin style with a higher pace, but quickly progresses into something intensely euphoric. With experience and measure, an out of the box approach can really pay off, and the added emotion in ‘Vrthng’ is certainly a turning point in the EP. This mindset is clearly carried over in the project’s conclusion : ‘It’s Always Past’. A surprising use of harmony and storytelling, this final chapter ends with Temudo sealing his style with confidence. The track is mystified by its chords, ending ‘Meteora’ with a question mark that leaves us in anticipation for what Temudo dares to do next.

In February 2016 Midland made his contribution to the hugely influential BBC Essential Mix series. The end of the mix came in the shape of an unreleased track that would go on to soundtrack dance floors and festivals the world over. That track was 'Final Credits.' Since its creation in the depths of winter to its vinyl release in June, with weekly airings everywhere from Panorama Bar to DC10 to Dekmantel Festival, the record has united dance floors and become one of the most unlikely tracks of the year. As the summer disappeared, calls for a full release of 'Final Credits' have swelled, and now, thanks to The Classic Music Company we're delighted to say this is becoming a reality.

Vor sechs Jahren wurde „Stupid Guy“ mit einem Remix von Nayan Soukie, Teil vom Duo @soukie-windish und Labelgründer von @ursl, veröffentlicht. Damals war das einer der ersten Releases von @schleppgeist und wohl sowas wie die Initialzündung für seine Karriere. Born in Bremen in 1980, Nayan Soukie's musical fascination began with Prince, Michael Jackson, Art of Noise and Franky goes to Hollywood. At 13, he swapped the classical guitar for computer music and never looked back. He tried his hand at Hip hop beats, later Easy listening, then Experimental sounds, and House music. Between community service and the start of the cooperation with Fritz Windish, which continues to this day, Nayan also went to search for meaning in other realms - but always ended up back in music. At the beginning of the 2000s, Techno, Minimal, and House music were also discovered in Bremen, and Nayan and Fritz took the bait. However, it would take until 2008 for the first vinyl release by the duo to appear on the Hamburg label Eminor. Fritz and Nayan moved to Hamburg, where they worked in a shared studio. Collaborations with Sebo and Madmotormiquel were followed by the founding of their label URSL and the move to Berlin in 2011. Here Soukie & Windish found a studio in Renate club together with Kotelett & Zadak and made a name for themselves as a duo. Since 2018, Nayan has been focusing more on his left-behind solo project Amount - and made a name for himself with his spirited live sets that alternate between Downtempo, Minimal, and Disco. An EP on Minimal Little Helpers was followed by his first Disco releases on Frank Music and Running Back. "The future will be disco for me, that's for sure," says Amount. And we can't wait to follow him into that future.
