And way too much emphasis is placed on production value; actual creativity and diversity are taking a back seat! Inventive lyrics also rarely get the credit they deserve. This indifference to the talents that actually set musicians apart plays into the hands of a money-minded music industry, signing our own death warrants!

MY APPROACH HAS ALWAYS BEEN, LET WHATEVER WANTS TO COME OUT, COME OUT; NO PLAN, NO BOUNDARIES, NO FORMULA, AND ON THE FLY! 

With so many people making music--literally tens of millions--there is a serious overcrowding problem, creating a wall of white noise; to stand out from that background, a musician must bring something very different to the table :)

Something about me:

Mena aka Anna Medve is born in Germany. Music has always been a passion of her because would be empty the life without music. 
She is not a professional DJ and starts late end of 2016 with the age of 62 as hobby. She plays only at home.
2013 she founds love for Progressive House Music, every kind of House Music, Techno but fallen in love to Trance. She listened on soundcloud as supporter to all kinds of music, on mixcloud and the internet radio Mixlr. 
At the end of 2016 she tried to put together sets by herself and used first only the software VDJ. 

She played on different Internet Radios guest sets like DI.FM on Oliver Planeix Minimal Madness, cuebase-fm, clubio.net, Future Beats Radio, Reykjavik Underground, Wamfm, most on Mixlr and since April 2020 as Resident Dj (Dj Mena) on www.futurebeatsradio.com 
At the end of 2023 Futurebeatsradio closes the Radio .

In early 2019 she tried to mix live on Mixlr and now it is her greatest passion to mix by herself. 
She loves special tracks and found her own style, loves and plays all genres of music.

Thomas Magee was born in 1981 in the state of New Jersey. While in school he grew up as a dedicated band geek playing in marching band, symphonic and jazz bands for 14 years. Moving on with his life he had joined the US Marine Corps, moved over to the US Army and now currently still serving the National Guard. Music is what allowed him to push through his life and struggles that have come from all directions. Now Thomas currently creates his music that is a instrumental emotion placed for the world to hear and understand. This is done by using a balance of strings, hip hop beats, Dub style beats, bass, and many other mixes of genres all into one aspect of music. For diversity and consistency, I am not hesitant in saying my Soundcloud pages house the most inventive creations on here. There are others making fabulous tunes, but no one is more prolific while maintaining a high standard of pole to pole invention, and that applies to the lyrics too. I won't escape obscurity and oblivion, but that proves nothing, the internet is way, way, WAY overcrowded with unsigned music, way too much mediocre stuff, which obscure anything exceptional out there; the wood hidden away behind lots and lots and LOTS of trees, and no one has the time to look for needles in haystacks, to find a diamond in the rough, it's just way too big a task, not humanely possible!

INVENTIVE, AUTHENTIC, DIVERSE MUSIC, INVENTIVE, AUTHENTIC, IMAGINATIVE LYRICS, but those are the last things the vast majority of listeners are looking for these days!

Me, I'm awestruck by musicians who can't be pigeonholed, who don't conform to any borders, who don't think about which direction each new creation will take, they just go wherever that creativity takes them; pure, on the fly, innovation, imperfect but 100% authentic, as far a way from manufactured, recipe book, regurgitation, as it is possible to get, totally unforced, inspirational and way, way, WAY outside the box! There ought to be a place for such creativity, there was at one time, but a mercenary music industry put an end to that, leaving us with a situation where those who deserve the most adoration for the talents receive the least!

Listening to just one of my tunes tells you nothing about my creative approach, listening to ten of my tunes will still tell you very little, listen to a hundred of my tunes and the penny will start to drop, but it's only after hearing 500+ of my creations and collaborations that your eyes will widen in amazement! 
However, if you don't have unlimited eclectic taste none of that applies, and the reality is, who, in this world, is going to listen to every tune I've created, no one--if even one tune is heard from beginning to end it's a minor miracle, because sadly, there is a belief that unsigned means inferior, but I've heard enough tunes by the rest of you guys to know that's a myth, that's bullshit, we create some of the most inventive, authentic, imaginative tunes out there!
Give me unsigned, independent and underground music over signed, safe, predictable, recipe book, music any day of the week!
