little lady walks out of the cafe
she says "thank you for your time"
claims i made up her whole day, her whole day

i say, today has not been great, not so great
my missing glasses are somewhere on the highway
but you walked in today with a big smiley face
you turned my frown upside down
made me smile for awhile
and i don't even know your name
my bad luck for burning my pancakes
my bad timing for staying up too late
but i believe that everything happens for a reason
a certain timing and it becomes a whole meanin'
but as i was saying
just dont keep waiting
for a great big change

enjoy every little moment, even if it's the worst
because no matter what, you'll hop right over it
just because you made a mistake doesn't make the whole day bad, no
so today, today's been okay day
