The oldest Progressive Rock Band in Egypt...Formed in Alex, Winter1987 by Amr Hassan & Ihab Al Qalie...Won the 1st prize in Marlboro Rock In'94 & Monsters of Rock festival..Playing 70's Classical Rock specially Pink Floyd....

The real name is Andromeda with an (E) not an (I) and Andromeda is the nearest galaxy to our own...but the story behind the name is, when we formed the band in late 80's, we were in love with Iron Maiden and when Ihab and I chose the name(Andromeda), we found the name relatively near from Iron Maiden and in fact, we were fond of writing Iron Maiden, and thus we chose to write Andromeda with an (I) instead of an (E).
