Recorded in short bursts between 2006 - 2012 altunes is a collection of pop/rock/indie tracks from guitarist & producer Aled Roberts staring Leela Hawcroft on vocals with guest appearances from Ed Crowley, Kerrie Price, Jonny Bell and Dai Roberts. In terms of genre I guess it could be described as ‘indie/pop’ but with regular excursions into soul, funk, rock, dance, electronica and whatever else takes our fancy. With a broad scope of influences thrown into the melting pot (post-punk-new-wave, eighties pop, nineties electronica and ‘alternative’ noughties rock), the slinky grooves, infectious riffs and hooks you could hang your hat on, everyone should be someone’s favourite.﻿
