Mystics have always used sound in ways far beyond the realm of mere entertainment - by breathing in an ethereal dimension into simple rustic sounds from life around to give us a taste of the beyond. A simple twang of the ektara often did what a thousand words could not do to touch people.

Sounds of Isha is Sadhguru's own home grown, anomalous group of 'musicians' - inspired by their deep yearning and sense of gratitude. Dabbling with and melting into their instruments, their work is a subtle fusion of the rich and diverse beings that they are. The group members are full-time volunteers with Isha Foundation, living a life of dedication and austerity; thus, their inspirational songs are usually created after a full day's activity, due to their passion and zest to share a different dimension of the foundation's work.

Their melodies are a fusion of music from different parts of the world - traversing effortlessly and seamlessly across boundaries and cultures. Whilst the music of these songs sooth our minds and the melodies enthrall us, the true potential of the songs is in their capability to instill in us an element of the eternal silence that touches the core of the human being. The performances of Sounds of Isha are set apart to deliver a potent and intoxicating ethereal concoction, transporting those who listen into subtler states of being - becoming the basis for inner exploration.

Navneeth was born in Trichy and brought up in Tuticorin and Chennai. The first signs of his musical prowess began to show up as early as when he was 6 years of age, when his parents discovered that he could play the jingle melodies he heard on TV, on button-based musical toys, all by himself. At the age of 8, he was mentored by Mr. Selvaraj Kumar, a keyboard player and music troupe leader from Tuticorin who honed his musical skills and got him on stage for the first time at around 9 years of age. Soon, he inducted him into his own troupe which kick-started his career as a performer.

Navneeth's moving to Chennai at 16, led to him forming a band called Trinity with his college friends that won many inter-college music competitions. He also started freelancing, playing fusion music, eventually performing with many leading classical and fusion musicians like Padmavibhushan Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Kalaimamani Rajhesh Vaidhya, Oscar nominee Bombay Jayshree, Drums Sivamani, Tabla maestro Bikram Ghosh, Selvaganesh, Ghatam Umashankar, Sarod Maestros Ayaan and Aman Ali Khan and many others in India and abroad. In 2004, thiru Vaigai Gnanaskandan awarded him the title of "Sangeetha Bhaskara" at Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai, for his excellence in Classical Carnatic music.

Soon, Navneeth started composing and writing for TV promos, corporate anthems, jingles and his own songs. While at the same time his progress as a performer grew from strength to strength. With TV reality shows such as Airtel Super Singer, Hariyudan Naan and many others becoming popular, Navneeth started featuring in those shows as guest performer.

Today Navneeth is an upcoming film music director and a prominent composer in the independent music scene. His first Malayalam film "Buddy" released in 2013 and is a multistarrer with Anoop Menon, Balachandra Menon, Asha Sharath, Bhumika Chawla and many others. He has also collaborated with other musicians and singers to compose tracks, the most popular ones being "Chandrachooda" for the film Karmayogi with Anoop Sankar, "Chinnanchiru Kiliye cover" with Shweta Mohan and "Dhik Dhik" with Vandana Srinivasan.

Navneeth also hold the unique distinction of being the first musician in the world to have performed Carnatic music on the iPad, which he achieved through his performance video of Lalgudi Jayaraman's Desh thillaana composition. The video was shared by Mr. A. R. Rahman, the world's most popular Indian composer and the video became viral henceforth.

Navneeth now has an independent band, named "Navneeth Sundar Ensemble" which focusses on independent music and also  covers of famous songs, rearranged by Navneeth. The band was featured on the television show "Music Mojo" of Kappa TV, where they performed Navneeth's original compositions which have become a hit on social media.
