Beatservice Records welcome Aleksander Kostopoulos to the family with his cosmically-charmed label debut, 'SteinGu'.

The half Greek drummer, hailing from Bodø, is well known to Norwegian music lovers thanks to the deft rhythms he's supplied for countless Norwegian bands, including Adjagas and sami singer Mari Boine. In recent years, his music recorded as part of the acclaimed three-piece ISÁK - alongside Sami singer Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen and producer James Daniel Njie Eriksen (who has worked with a.o. Alan Walker) - has helped shine more light on his work, while his solo career has been steadily blossoming, with his fusion of cinematic electronica and visually striking live shows brilliantly enhancing his immersive drum sets.

His arrival on Beatservice Records is nothing short of a triumph, with mesmerising musicality augmented by breathtaking production across a genially breathtaking composition. 'SteinGu' captures the attention from the very first bar, with dramatic strings and astrally-charged arpeggios joined by haunting vocoder swells as Aleksander's rolling drums power the groove. Ever more harmonic textures enhance the arrangement as it ebbs, flows, and rises to a rousing climax.

Life-affirming yet bittersweet, the music bursts with emotion, marking a powerfully impressive entry to the Beatservice roster while whetting the appetite for a full EP that's slated for release later in the year.

It all began at the age of 16 when Anatoly was introduced to the Dance eJay program, igniting the spark that would fuel his venture into music composition. His relentless pursuit of creative excellence has always been at the forefront of his artistic endeavors.

Influenced by the likes of Oliver Hantemann, Stefan Bodzin, and Thomas Schumacher, Anatoly's musical evolution took a profound turn in 2018 with the birth of the Eternal Moment project.

Breaking away from a decade-long commitment to dark minimal techno, Anatoly experienced a profound internal transformation that mirrored in his music. The result? A harmonious blend of electronic processing, enriched with ethereal mantras and ethnic motifs, earning him the affectionate moniker of "philosophical electronics" among friends and fans alike.

What was once a hobby transformed into a life's purpose in 2018, marking the inception of Anatoly's career as a music producer and artist.
