Sol Selectas is pleased to present Global Entry 2, a thirteen song compilation of psychedelic dance music, by 13 unique artists, from various parts of the World.

On volume 2 we have music from Germany, Egypt, Argentina, Italy, Russia, Israel, Turkey, Georgia, and the USA. We welcome the artists Aurka, Tamada, Serkan Eles, and DOMA, for their debut on Sol Selectas. And we are happy to present music again from our family members Be Svendsen, Sabo, Timboletti, Guy Maayan, Ayala (IT), Golan Zocher and Choopie, Hot Oasis, PAAX Tulum, and Tuba Twooz.  The songs feature heartfelt melodies,  swirling arpeggios, subtle acid licks, distorted electric guitars, desert grooves, and lots of tribal percussion. 

Global Entry 2 is the guiding sound to lead you through a cosmic portal, allowing yourself to transcend into a new higher musical dimension. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali displays an interstellar doorway up the stairs of an exotic hacienda on a distant but familiar planet.

I started to work on this track 3 years ago, and I think I finally found the sweet spot I was looking for. Aiming to land somewhere between raw strength and a natural softness. 

Beyond one clear emotion, one clear genre, or any rigid parameter that could create division. 

I was looking for some kind of universal color and found it in the shades of One Destination. 

It is about about this wild seed we all have inside, you can hear it blooming towards the end of the track. Creating a feeling of gathering, of unity. 

It is my pleasure to share this with you today.

Known for his hypnotic momentums and stadium-sized electro blends, Doré has found a perfect match in Berlin’s "most unusual live DJ” as Sukroso likes to picture himself, he who uses the guitar as his sole stage companion. The result of their bold undertaking forms the backbone to “Cloudflare” - a three-tracker most essentially building bridges between riff-strewn audio escapism and jockey-friendly rhythms and grooves.

The forward-moving “Cloudflare” draws first with a fine concoction of melancholic downtempo and arpeggiated electronica on a washed-out folk tip. A slice of balearic heaven, “Cascade Highway” rounds it off on a further sentimental yet dynamic note. Doré’s solo “Arpinsaw” then brings the jacking, bass-heavy vibe back to the foreground with a tribal-infused rollercoaster meshing seesawing synths and adrenaline-charged conga onslaughts. A vibrantly-hued journey of its own, oozing a fragrant elixir of classic Andalusian strings, powerhouse kicks and sun-bleached ambient all at once.

A joint effort with SVT and Gardens of Babylon staple Deer Jade, “Imhotep” entangles pure euphoric prog folds alongside whorls of space-discoid escapism and 90s-infused, post-trancey chromatic distortions. Some artists try to sound like others, and some artists have others sound like them. The duo, Of Norway, falls in the latter camp - over a decade of forward-thinking creations that are uniquely their own. We're honored to have them back on Do Not Sit with their three track 'Sunflower' EP.

The title track's heavy bass is the balance to the playful horn, while the intro breakbeats clear the path for the straightforward beat midway through the song. Lovely.

Following comes 'Scheffeli', a deep and moody groover that goes and goes.

Rounding it out is 'Burnt Sienna', which takes it even deeper. Lush and opulent pieces of sound interact with the steady, bubbly bass and drums.
