The album “Sendero Raíz” was produced in Viña del Mar, Chile, in the studio of its producer Inqui Nairü.
The process lasted a little over 2 years, ending in April 2021.
Most of the songs are born during a successful 3-month tour, in the European summer 2019.

The Orgänica Elemental duo was born in summer 2019 to perform live, mixing acoustic and digital instrumentation. Building the journey in the moment, the artists communicate through the musical language of improvisation and create a unique experience for their viewers.
Inqui Nairü deals with drums plus digital sound design and Fehu Agni deals with wind instruments.

Fehu is a virtuoso musician from Valparaíso who joins the project in early 2020, delivering great melodic depth with his mastery of the transverse flute, the saxophone, the quena and various types of native flutes.

Throughout the duo's career, including their participation in bands such as Rütrance, they have been able to meet top international musicians who now please us with their participation in this work. The result is a unique mix of genres and styles.

@yemanjo is a producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ based in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. His evolving tastes encompass traditional ethnic music from Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, shamanic downtempo, and global bass as well as soul, funk and hiphop.

Yemanjo's music is a rich and polyrhythmic concoction of downtempo and organic house beats meeting Latin, African and Middle Eastern influences in the form of ethnic instruments and tribal chants.  His new single "Bedawi" (Arabic for Bedouin) is a buoyant dub instrumental complimented by hypnotic percussion, traditional Middle Eastern instruments and his signature live trumpet melodies--the perfect vibe to accompany your trip through the desert.

Landhouse - Nacht Nacht

Moving slowly underwater by night,
the solitary Hexapus dreams of a conversation. A feeling of safety amongst likeminded beings. 

There are dangerous traps out there, but Hexapus camouflages its tentacles under a coral to seek shelter. Rising from below at dawn, stranger than fiction, this sea animal has 9 brains and 3 hearts. 

Gray, brown, pink, blue, or green the six limbed mollusc blends in these colours with its surroundings to remain unseen. Maybe that is also a reason for its loneliness?

Good morning Marsha 😊

➢Tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning?

It is actually not a specific song but Meditation music with nature sounds that I enjoy most in the morning. It helps me to quite my inner voice, “just be” and prepare for a full and productive day.

➢Where would be the best place to take us to enjoy a sunset in Athens?

The ancient Greek temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio is one of the best places to experience a magical sunset over the Aegean sea. You travel back in time while the late afternoon sun bathes the glorious temple with a golden glorious glow.

➢What is your favourite aspect of DJ’ing?

Keeping people entertained and inspiring them to get up and dance is part of the reason I love to DJ. Also interacting with them, understanding the mood of the dance floor, the energy of the venue and how it changes is a real challenge and motive for me.

➢You run the wonderful Deep House Athens channel. What is the hardest part about running a channel like yours?

Running Deep House Athens requires a lot of time but it brings me a lot of personal joy and satisfaction. Keeping the quality high, creating the ideal space and choosing the right music and talented artists is maybe the hardest part about running the channel.

➢ What do you hope to bring the music scene with Deep House Athens? 

Deep House Athens was founded on the belief that the true beauty of music is connection and so its main aim is to connect to one another as far and wide around the globe as we can.

➢Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose?

This mix is a bit different to what I’m usually doing. I moved out of my comfort zone and blended different tunes in order to deliver the calming power of a glorious sunset. It starts with some old chill, lounge & dub music and, in the middle, it changes to some new downtempo organic house. The mix was inspired by all those beautiful sunsets that I’ve watched in my life and which I count them as a blessing. I recorded it one or two days before the wildfires started in Greece and so I dedicate it to the forestland, the trees and the animals that turned into ashes and, of course, to all those people whose houses and heritage lost in the fire.

David Rausch - Substance [Underyourskin]

Combining field recordings from all over the world with vintage synthesizers, Dan Bay delivers the 14th EP on Heimlich Musik, complete with four original mixes and remixes by Oberst & Buchner, Le Rubrique, Spaniol, and kalupke.

All original mixes are based on organic instrument recordings and a variety of percussion sounds. Adding melancholic synthesizer lines and classic drum machine samples, Dan Bay transforms original ideas into versatile dance music.

Remixing „One Night in Kerala“, Heimlich’s very own Oberst & Buchner give their energetic interpretation a subtle 80s touch, while Spaniol’s approach is taking the original on a hypnotic trip with a focus on the epic main theme recorded by guitarist Max Clouth.

Le Rubrique’s treatment of „Phishing Wales“ comes as a stripped-down version of the original with deep Dub Techno elements creating an ecstatic atmosphere, and Cologne-based Duo kalupke is rounding up the EP perfectly with their unique relaxed and dreamy style.
