Ready Mix Records proudly present the Unreleased Remixes Vol.1; the first of many compilations showcasing previously unreleased remixes from across our catalogue.

Many great remixes never get to see the light of day in the hectic life of a label. Deadlines get missed, artists get inspired to make a new version long after the original package has been issued, and talented fans take it upon themselves to sample and re-imagine tracks without our involvement. When the resulting music is great, it always presents a label manager with a problem: what shall we do with it? 

The answer of course is: RELEASE IT!

Welcome to our first collection of previously unheard mixes, gathered together here, for a moment in the sun.

Opening the package, Anatolian Sessions delivers an ultra deep rework of Haris Kate's track 'Dion', a track that never had a full release- instead featured in one of our Various Artist compilations.

Unheard for the same reason as track one, Lev Tatarov's rework of Human Society's 'Colva' is powerful and brooding; brim-full of meditative atmospheres.

Jean Vayat requested the parts for Gulivert's track 'Atlantis' a few months after its release. It's clear from Jean's lucid and free-flowing rework and accompanying deep dub that inspiration was with him from the moment he heard it.

Kiano & Below Bangkok's Remix of Groove2Groove's 'After Life' is vibey and energetic.

Finally, COYA Dubai resident DJ Alex Twin initially created his remix of Jalil B's huge track 'Id Ameggaz' from a Soundcloud rip. We heard it, loved it and sent him the stems so he could put together a proper remix of the track. 

We think you'll agree, it's special.

We composed this track to highlight the cry of distress from the jungle.
It was important for us to set this ecological emergency to music.
That’s why beyond the catchy and dancing side, solemnity and sadness emanate
from this track. Our animal totem is the Monkey and you will hear some of his cries. Human being are so close to him, we imagine the monkey as the jungle
spokesperson, trying to alert us when his home is dying…

Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

About the artist: 
Marco Pellegrini (Moopo) was born in Costa Rica, son of a Colombian mother and an Italian father, he has been around music from a early age, his dad listened to a lot of old rock, jazz, blues and world music, where his mother loved salsa and latin rhythms.
Marco has accomplished a lot of things, one of the main ones was signing a record deal with Universal Music Group in 2018, he has collaborated with artists all over the world and has songs with over 700.000 plays.
After 8 years of producing music he has decided to create this new project called “MOOPO”, completely different from what he was used to, Marco needed a fresh new start, new sounds, new feelings.

'Imaginary Treasure Mountain' is inspired by old Georgian tales and legends. The old sayings say that underneath some mountains in Caucasus and Georgia, ancient treasure and heritage has been held for centuries. Many have tried to find the treasure but have failed. There have been several expeditions during the 19th and 20th centuries, in order to go to the bottom of specific mountains from caves, but always some hidden force was protecting the place and was against people going down. Native saying says that he who will find the treasure will gain access to ancient Georgian treasure as well as cosmic and earthly knowledge. This album is a journey to that place .

With a Master degree in Consumer Psychology and a burning passion for music, Deep Filip’s musical journey blasten off exponentially in 2017. Playing at several avenues, festivals and gigs, Filip’s adventures are just getting started. The DJ and producer is based in Rotterdam — Netherlands, and a whole range of musical genres invade his musical choices — hard to define by one genre, but with influences from Africa, South America, Middle East, Easter Europe and Asia, his style can be defined as melodic, sophisticated and groovy, with a rootsy and spiritual take on electronica. Besides DJing and producing, Filip is also the head of Music & Sound at Soulvana, part of Mindvalley.   

After a three weeks gap, we return with this 186th edition, two hours positively crafted by Filip's mindset — “always different, always the same". Despite being never one-note, the selection goes through hyper-dense packages, moods and textures change subtly and effectibely yet. In this way, those 123 minutes summarize his motto:  “I like to play what I consider to be good music. If it evokes some (positive) feeling within me, if I can dance on it, if it makes my head spin or touches my heart, I will play it and pass on this emotion to you. We are all responsible for creating an amazing experience together".
