Last night I had a piece of foreign matter in my foot that prevented me from sleeping. That was the reason why I sat down in the studio and played some music while I waited for the emergency doctors to open. Luckily I pressed the record button. Would have been a shame if I hadn't. And yeah, the foot is better again.

Me and @moromusik's set from Tales from the Deep! This was a very special evening for us; the inaugural event for our fledgeling collective, our first time playing together, and the beginning of an event series dedicated to bringing downtempo sounds to Portland, OR. It was quite a magical night and we are super happy to share this set with you ♥︎

The final track is a poem featuring my voice played over the tracks "Canoes" by O/Y and "La Danza de las Almas" by Tlazohtla. It was accompanied by contemporary dance performance by the movement artist Luis Enrique Nájera. Special thanks to @floydvader for production help! Imagine if the word imagine didn’t exist. Or, imagine if you weren’t capable of imagining at all. In all probability, @timboletti’s mix wouldn’t have been created, nor would Rambalkoshe or SoundCloud or the John Lennon song have ever come into existence. Just imagine how many super interesting things were born from pure imagination. People have imagined sitting in a garage how they are going to change our perception of computers, some others have imagined sitting at night by the fire on the shore of the ocean how one day people will spend a week in the desert to feel cut off from reality.
