What happened last week?

The Magic Movement is more than happy to welcome Mux (@muxset) from Naples (Italy) to the family.

His debut EP for us showcases his extraordinary qualities as a composer, instrumentalist, and producer: In four originals, Mux superbly mixes acoustic instruments like guitars, marimbas, and kalimbas with strong electronic Downbeats.

In complex arrangements, he creates elevating atmospheres using South American rhythms, lyrical melodies, and sophisticated synthesizer textures. This guy definitely needs no sample packs.

The release is rounded up with a remix by our head-honcho Noema (@Noema), who gives „Floating World“ an uptempo club treatment and turns it into an uplifting sunset club anthem with sick sound design and lots of love for the details.

We met @luimafuta thanks to our friends from @downvienna at a wild party at Fluc in Vienna in 2019 . We spend some nice days together and feel in love with his live set. When Jonas aka @KlangDruide then send us " A Spoon full of honey" as release proposal earlier this year, we directly had to think of Lui and knew this would be a great match. Lui took his friend Puste along with his trumpet and out came this beauty of a track. Due to Corona we could not enjoy their live performance at Klunkerkranich last Saturday the 14.03, but we hope the song puts a smile on your face where ever you are right now. 

As always with Hug Records 50% of the profit raised with this track are donated to the Water Project from @Love-Foundation. The other 50% are split equally between Artist and Label.
