As promised, more new music from Plastician. This time it lands in the form of a single, featuring the tracks "Do What You Feel" and "Sonic Anxiety".

Do What You Feel is a song that answers many of the questions asked of it purely in the title and the vocal sample "Just be yourself, won't you do what you feel?". Plastician produced this track at a time in his career where he became disillusioned with much of the music he found himself surrounded by. Inspired by listening to a handful of 90's hardcore records, he tracked down a classic sample that had struck a chord and began to build the track around it as an ode to the importance of experimenting with new styles and sounds, something he's become much respected for in his 15 year career.

Backing up the single, a sombre number titled "Sonic Anxiety" serves as a soundscape designed to represent the hours wasted away fighting insomnia. A track that feels as busy at times as it does empty, and calculated yet simple. 

Also included is a beatless mix of Do What You Feel. 

We hope you enjoy the release, which is designed as a taster for a plethora of eclectic releases from Plastician in 2016.

‘Mirage’ is the new single from German producer Tim Bernhardt, aka Satin Jackets. Released this November on Eskimo Recordings, ‘Mirage’ continues Bernhardt’s winning streak that has made him one of the hottest nu-disco/house producers around, clocking up more than 20 million plays on Spotify alone in the past few years.
 
Following on from this summer’s Nordic themed hit ‘Northern Lights’, Bernhardt has once again looked to Scandinavia for inspiration. “I think this might be the hookiest track I have made so far,” explains Bernhardt. “But then you start looking for the best possible topline which, of course, can be like searching for the Holy Grail, but on a trip to Stockholm at last it all came together. Incorporating a delectable “huh” and graceful piano, Claude VonStroke has excelled with his interpretation of
An Evidence of Time. Animating the original with an emphatic bassline and unyielding timbres, whilst paying
homage to the original with the mid-way breakdown. Audiofly have reconstructed Radian with their discernible
sound. Their remix strips down the original, migrating through hypnotic synthesis, steadily building then fading
to silence. Keeping the original kick a prominent feature, Tim Green ’s rendition of the title track Baobab shines
through. A hearty techno beat forms the basis of the minimalistic roller.
Dirtybird founder Claude VonStroke has had an incredible year with his longstanding label receiving Mixmag’s
