I began writing DAYA with my young autistic daughter. Soon after, Daya was diagnosed with a devastating illness and had to endure aggressive treatment which took us away from home for over 5 months. On our way to our long hospital stay, Daya asked me to finish this music for her as she wanted people to hear it. At the time I was unbearably overwhelmed and devastated by what was happening and felt it impossible but I continued working on it when I could very early in the mornings. Daya’s music was released on Bandcamp from the hospital room in which we were staying.

Mysterious Siren about to burst into the stratosphere... Amy Odell, born in UK, British-Irish decent. As a Singer, Songwriter and Artist, she discovered her voice in her late teens. Her sound has evolved into something very unique. Self taught in both piano and guitar, Amy's approach to music is very organic and emotive. A few of her past collaborative projects include Black Sky Down EP, guest vocal appearance on Gavin Fridays Album 'Catholic', as well as a film score.  Her EP. Death in Venice  and single Sound of a King are both available on Itunes.
