Viva Stereo formed from the ashes of a guitar band in 2001 with the view to making music that would encompass a full weekends ebbs and flows.

Saturday nights are important to Viva Stereo but with it comes the Sunday morning soul searching and the combination of these are what give the 'stereo' sound its dark edges.

 Juan "Punchy" Gonzalez (Lead vocals/Backing Vocals/Music/Producer) is best known for producing Death Metal records (Morbid Angel-Diabolic-Lover of Sin) came together with Ryan Cosmonaught (Lead Vocals/Backing Vocals/Bass) who is known for his musical projects (Space King-Dead Dark Slide) to produce this romp through classic rock. With a Monkees meets Beatles meets Boston meets Queen meets Beach Boys meets E.L.O. sound, Cosmic Punch brings the familiar served in a new fried form on a stick. Rob Murphy - Guitar/Vocals

Rob Murphy was born in July of 1990 in Wrexham, Wales. He first picked up the guitar in 1994 at four years of age and began to sing and write songs at just five years old. 

Rob grew up in Devon and has continued to develop his songwriting and playing over the years, he has played in various bands as the songwriter and front man, before returning to a solo career. Rob has played at venues such as St Davids Hall in Cardiff for the BBC Proms, The Beautiful Days Festival and Toured the UK in 2008 supporting two successful acts, playing at venues such as The Manchester Road House and The Bedford Esquires. The Rob Murphy Trio was formed in late 2014 with the intention of bringing more expression and life to the original music written by Rob Murphy.

James Sharpe - Bass Guitar

James Sharpe was born in 1986 in Devon. He first picked up the bass in 2001 having been inspired by the likes of Cass Lewis (Skunk Anansie) Flea (The Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Tim Commerford (Rage Against The Machine)

After taking to quickly he went on to play in stage shows,original and function bands, before going to London College Of Music to hone his skills. Whilst there he earned a solid reputation playing many of the capitals popular venues.

With a natural talent in performing, combined with an extensive musical theory knowledge, James has developed his skills as a bassist over the years.

Ryan Bird - Drums

Ryan Bird was born in Exeter, in 1985, He started drumming in 1995 at ten years old, Ryan has played in numerous Orchestras and bands. Having recorded two albums with his previous bands and appeared on numerous local radios stations, Ryan has worked hard to build a name for himself.

Ryan was inspired by the likes of John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Keith Moon (The Who) and Dave Grohl (Nirvana)

During Ryan's drumming career he has played at numerous festivals and venues including The Phoenix and The Cavern to name a few.
