So here finally is Nick Muirs storming re-edit of 'Can't Do Without You' from Caribous superb album 'Our Love'. Aimed,
of course, squarely at the dance floor, Nick has taken the track, magnified, squeezed and wrung out every ounce of dance
potential from the tune. For the last few weeks the track has been exclusively in the hands of John Digweed who has
used it as a set closer to devastating effect. The edit has the full blessing of Caribous leading light Dan Snaith and
the City Slang label and is available here now for the first time as a free download!

Da Iguana is both urban and organic. Instrumentalist ever since he was a kid, Da Iguana has explored many styles until Hip Hop and its instrumentals invaded his life for good and gave him that passion for loops and samples. 
Da Iguana fell for electronic music 4 years ago, revisiting the way he composed and mixed, adding a dosis of his other passion: travelling. From 60 to 140 bpm, from jungle to desert, from ethnic grooves to electronic loops... 

This EP moves between lightness and darkness, gathering Da Iguana’s sonic memories from the jungle & its wildlife (Corcovado), Cuban vibes, Caribbean tropical storms and his encounter with the Surinamese community in Amsterdam…

Ignorance is Bliss consists of 5 tracks with different styles and tempos. The idea for creating my very first EP occurred to me when listening to a conversation between Barack Obama and David Attenborough. 

They are talking about the beauty of nature and the importance of human beings being aware of protecting it. Young children have a strong connection with nature, after playing outside in the sun carefree they will at some point realise the potential danger of climate change. When creating this EP, I have sought for a sound that reflects the contrast between threat and hope.
