I have recently enjoyed contributing to two collaborations and when Fivos Valachis posted the track 'Ithaka' for open collaboration I could not resist offering something in response to it. 

Fivos's composition is based upon the poem "ITHAKA" by Konstantinos Kavafis and upon reading it I found that it offered a very different perspective upon the journey to Ithaka to the one that I am familiar with in the context of the Odyssey. I will continue to reflect upon and consider this different perspective however in preparing to work on this my first thought was for Penelope. As such it is with thoughts upon separation, loss and longing that this interpretation is rooted. I hope that it is pleasing to your ears and offers something to the soul.....
